Paul has had a long-term involvement in developing, supporting and advocating the use of institutional repositories. With a focus on technical infrastructure and information standards, he is an active participant in COAR’s Next-generation Repositories working group and is the technical author of the successful RIOXX metadata application profile.
Paul also works closely with the Dublin Core Metadata Initiative and is Chair of the DCMI Governing Board
Paul is currently Head of Technology Strategy and Planning at EDINA, University of Edinburgh.
